On Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 7-9 p.m. in the City Council chambers, the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a candidate forum for those running for Chelsea City Council.
On the ballot this year are the mayor and three City Council seats. All four candidates have been invited to participate.
Current City Council Member Melissa Johnson is running for the open mayor’s seat and current City Council Member Cheri Albertson and newcomers Rick Catherman and Tony Iannelli are running for the three City Council seats.
Paul Schissler will be the moderator for the evening.
Each candidate will have the opportunity to respond to two questions that will be prepared by the chamber. The response times will be timed and limited to two minutes.
The audience will be invited to submit written questions for the candidates during the forum. A member of the chamber staff will collect the questions from the audience and pass them to the moderator.
