Mocha Caramel Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso,  Hazelnut Iced Coffee or one of the many other coffee variations along with tea, hot chocolate and more have made Biggby Coffee on South Main Street in Chelsea a destination.

That is confirmed by the fact that Biggby Store 191 is celebrating its fourth birthday in November.

“We love the great community and small town feel,” said Chris Kosmet, owner and manager of the store. “Business has been very good. Going into our fourth year, we are still growing at a 20-percent rate.”

Kosmet says that the Chelsea store has won many awards in the Biggby organization for being an outstanding store, including the 2014 BIG B Cup award.

“We may be a franchise, but we have that locally-owned, coffee shop atmosphere,” said Kosmet.

In addition to the coffee and non-coffee drinks, Biggby sells a variety of snacks such as muffins, scones, bagels, donuts, cakes and cookies.

Kosmet says the Chelsea store has already brought back Peppermint Stick Mocha to welcome the holiday season.

The Chelsea store will have a birthday special on Nov. 19, it will offer 99-cent tall, hot and iced drinks.

“It’s our way of saying thank you for being such great customers,” said Kosmet.
