Nov. 3: HVA hosting free pet CPR course

(Publisher’s note: Although this is taking place in Ann Arbor, I thought it might be of interest to local pet owners.)

Huron Valley Ambulance is hosting a free Pet CPR and First Aid training in Ann Arbor on Friday, Nov. 3 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at its headquarters at 1200 State Circle in Ann Arbor.

Pets are susceptible to medical emergencies, including cardiac arrest. Participants in this free training will learn how to care for their pet in an emergency, all participants will receive a pet bandana.

Huron Valley Ambulance is a nationally accredited, nonprofit, community-owned organization. HVA provides paramedic emergency and non-emergency ambulance services to all of Washtenaw County and parts of western Wayne and southwest Oakland counties.
