On Monday, Oct. 5, dine in at Jet’s Pizza and 10 percent of your bill will go to the Chelsea Music and Memory Project.
The program trains caregivers and volunteers to build personalized musical playlists to help those with dementia-related illness.
Through a grant from Chelsea Community Foundation, and support from Chelsea District Library and Ascent Audiology and Hearing, this program is available to residents at Silver Maples, Chelsea Retirement Community, and members of Chelsea Senior Center.
You can support this project by donating old iPods (there are boxes available in the offices at Chelsea schools), iTunes gift cards, or by volunteering.
