Oct. 6: get your tickets now for Taste of Chelsea to benefit St. Louis Center

The Taste of Chelsea continues to be a popular event in support of St. Louis Center, and will be held in St. Mary Parish Hall at 14200 Old US-12 on Saturday Oct. 6, from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

This will be the 8th year for this event, and tickets are now available at the St. Mary Parish Office and at St. Louis Center.

“We’ve had great support from the community for this event every year, and we hope to see another strong turnout in 2018,” said Joe Yekulis, public relations director for St. Louis Center in a press release adding, “‘The Francesco and Dave Duo’ are Italian Folk performers from Paesano’s in Ann Arbor and will be back this year to perform, and most of our community’s favorite restaurants are participating once again.”

This year’s food purveyors include: Arctic Breakaway, Chelsea Bakery, Chelsea Big Boy, Chelsea Comfort Inn, Chelsea Milling, Common Grill, Cottage Inn Pizza, Fr. Bill’s Rice Pudding, Good Times Kettle Corn, Indian Brook Trout Farm, Clear Lake Grill, Mancino’s – Zeeb Rd., Smokehouse 52 BBQ, Stivers, Thompson’s Pizza, True North Jerky, Uptown Coney Island, and Zou Zou’s Café.

The popular “Wine Pull” event will feature wine donated by Carmela Foods and Ken Arbogast-Wilson of WTW Design Group.

Major sponsors known as “Master Chef’s” include:  St. Joseph Mercy Hospital-Chelsea and Dr. Jona Gill of Chelsea Dermatology, while “Sous Chef Sponsors” include: Chelsea Chevrolet-Buick, Chelsea K of C Council #3092, Donna Hrozencik, M.D. and Mark Ouimet, Golling Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram of Chelsea, In-Chelsea Hair Design, Jeff Klink and Associates, Koch & White Heating & Cooling, Reimco Building Co., Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, and Hon. Judge Kirk W. Tabbey, 14-A District Court.  

Tickets are $45, and can be purchased at St. Mary Parish, St. Louis Center, or at the door during the event.
