Enjoy the autumn bounty at the Chelsea Farmers Markets. They will run through the end of October.

The Saturday market runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at Palmer Commons on Main Street.

Colorful flowers will be for sale along with plants and herbs.

A variety of fresh apples will be available along with apple cider.

You’ll also find a colorful variety of vegetables including peppers, tomatoes, squash, onions, eggplant, as well as pumpkins.

Plenty of cakes, cookies, and breads will be available as well as eggs, honey, and seasonings.

There is a regional (Chelsea, Grass Lake, Manchester and Stockbridge) food assistance program to help get healthy market food on the tables of those in need. It’s aimed at folks who don’t quite meet SNAP criteria. Be sure to inquire at the market.
