Students in teacher Amy Proos‘ second grade class at North Creek Elementary used their hands and feet to make special turkeys.
Inside each turkey is a note that reads: “These are my hands and my feet made into a turkey as your Thanksgiving treat. Hang it up as the holiday grows near and always remember my second grade year.”
They also chose to be a farmer or a turkey and wrote an essay about why people should eat turkey or, in the case of the turkey, why people should not eat the birds.
The student’s work was displayed in theĀ hallway outside their classroom.
