All the advertisers you see on Chelsea Update have come from the fantastic folks who contact me, and choose to support me and this popular little online news source. I am hoping that there will be more of you in 2026.

Chelsea Update does not have an ad staff or business staff. All of these tasks fall on me as the owner of a primarily one-person publication. There just aren’t enough hours in the day to bring you the news and knock on doors. In fact, in 13 years of publication, I’ve never solicited advertising – until today.
I am also considering the addition of an events page that would allow for additional spots for ads, to spotlight all the amazing things that take place during the year.
Chelsea Update publishes for you daily with a tiny paid staff of the best freelancers anyone could ever ask for – Lisa Carolin, Crystal Hayduk, Alan Ashley, Burrill Strong and Randy Lee.
Every word or photograph that is published on Chelsea Update goes through me – it’s edited and coded by my busy fingers.
And I have never suggested that a reader make a contribution to have their letter, announcement, information or press release published. Without the community’s contributions, news tips and support, this little news site would cease to exist.
As individuals, you can always make a non tax-deductable donation in any amount that is also so greatly appreciated.
