Recent obituary: Cindy Carol Balliet

Cindy Carol Balliet of Munith, MI, age 65, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 at her home.

She was born May 30, 1952 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the daughter of William Irvin and Carol J. (Doy) Balliet.

Cindy graduated from Willow Run High School in 1970. She went to nursing school to become a Nurses Aid, and did private nursing care. Cindy was in charge of records at St. Joe, she worked in housekeeping at U of M, and she cared for the elderly at the Chelsea United Methodist Retirement Community.

Cindy attended Salem Grove United Methodist Church. She liked to sew and knit.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 3, 2:00 pm at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, with Pastor David Cornwell officiating.  Burial will follow at Salem Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from noon until 2 p.m.
