Dorothy K. Green formerly of Chelsea, age 98, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019, at Bethell Adult Family Home in Kirkland, Washington.
She was born July 16, 1921, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Reginald Emery and Ethel (Hodge) Wright.
Dorothy worked with her husband at Redford Electric Company. Dorothy’s 98 years were filled with many travels and adventures with Bob. They shared their love of travel with their children.
She attended St. Barnabas Church in Chelsea, and enjoyed the fellowships there. Dorothy’s greatest joy was sharing the love of her family; from endless hours of toddler playtimes to college graduations. Dorothy’s endless kindnesses are treasures to us all.
A graveside service will be held at Parkview Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan in the spring.
