Garry Dean Harris of Dexter, age 72, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 at his home.
He was born Nov. 28, 1946 in Murphysboro, Illinois, the son of William A. and Betty (Crombar) Harris.
Garry was originally from Wayne, MI, and has lived in Lima Township for 29 years. He worked at Huron Valley Steel for 40 years.
No services will be held at this time. A memorial will be held in the spring.

Lyle Tindall of Ypsilanti, age 72, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 at Superior Woods Heathcare Center, Ypsilanti.
He was born Sept. 14, 1946 in Ypsilanti, the son of Donald J. and Evelyn Wilhemina (Haack) Tindall.
Lyle graduated from Ypsilanti High School, and then attended Cleary College. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Lyle worked for the UAW Ford plant in Ypsilanti. He was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous and the UAW Local #849, where he was chairman of the Retirees Chapter for many years.
Lyle was also a member of the UAW Veterans Committee, and on the Board of Directors of People Driven Credit Union in Ypsilanti.
Private memorial services were held.
