Recent obituary: Harold Eugene ‘Gene’ Reece

Harold Eugene “Gene” Reece of Ann Arbor, age 86, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Arbor Hospice Residence.

He was born Aug. 4, 1927 in Rozel, Kansas, the son of John Dee Reece and Martha (Hancock) Reece.

Gene enjoyed sports, old movies, and westerns.  He married Pattie Lea Fritz and she preceded him in death in 2009. Pattie was Gene’s very first girlfriend and they were able to enjoy the twilight of their lives together.
