Recent obituary: Jacqueline E. Bianco

Bianco,-Jacqueline-webJacqueline E. Bianco of Chelsea, age 89, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor after a brief illness.

She was born on July 24, 1925, to Stonewall Jackson Baker and Myrtle (Dunham) Baker. She grew up in Mendon, MI, and upon graduating from high school moved to Ann Arbor where she met Clarence Parsons. They were married on Sept. 9, 1949 and raised their family of three children in Dixboro.

After the passing of her husband, Jacqueline in time met Donald Bianco and they were married in 1979. Don’s work took them to Baltimore, Maryland, for a period in the early 1980s, and upon his retirement they returned to Michigan. Jacqueline worked at The University of Michigan Economics Department and the Kellogg Eye Center. In retirement, Jacqueline lived at the Pines in Chelsea where she enjoyed sewing and needle point projects. Her children and grandchildren were the recipients of many of her crafts.
