Joyce Eleanor Gauntlett formerly of Ann Arbor, passed away at age 72 on Nov. 16, 2014 after a courageous battle with lung disease.
Joyce passed peacefully, surrounded by her close and loving family.
Born in Detroit, the daughter of Harry and Anna Greene, Joyce lived in Ann Arbor most of her life until the passing of her husband Mack Gauntlett in 2008. Joyce then moved to Austin, TX to escape the cold winters. She is the second of the four “Greene Girls” and leaves behind her sisters Janet Amman and Christine Taylor of Chelsea, MI and her sister Pat Rinker (husband Ron) of Harbor Springs, MI.
Joyce cherished spending time with her family, which includes her sisters, children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
