Recent obituary: Kathy Joanne (Buck) Borden

Kathy Joanne (Buck) Borden of Chelsea, passed away on March 12, 2019 with her family by her side.

She was born on Nov. 27, 1956 the daughter of Carroll H. and Gladys J. (Brabant) Buck in Ann Arbor.

She met her loving husband, Michael Borden, of 40 years on a blind date. They were married Sept. 9, 1978 in Chelsea. Kathy graduated from Chelsea High School in 1975.

Her life’s career was being a loving and devoted wife, mother, and daughter. She loved camping with her family and friends, U-M Football and teasing endlessly those she loved. Most especially she loved spending time with her family.

A gathering of friends of family will take place on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Private burial will take place at Oak Grove East Cemetery at a later date.

  1. I was so sorry to hear of Katy passing. I remember us working together and attending her beautiful wedding. She was so special.
