Recent obituary: Sandra Ann Brown

Sandra Ann Brown of Chelsea, age 77, died Friday, May 18, 2018 at Arbor Hospice Residence.

She was born July 7, 1940 in Herkimer, New York, the daughter of Ziggy and Vera (Vespi) Cwalenski.

Sandra was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Chelsea. She worked as a legal secretary for McLaughlin Law Firm for 28 years. Sandra was a member and past president of the Chelsea Jaycees/Jaycettes. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.

Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved reading, keeping in touch with her friends through Facebook, and following her grandchildren in sports and daily activities. Sandra was an avid fan of U of M football and the marching band.

A celebration of Sandra’s life will be Sunday, June 3, from 2-5 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 14200 E Old US Hwy 12, Chelsea, MI 48118, in the social hall.  Private burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Chelsea.
