Sandra Suzanne Gasiewski, age 73, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Chelsea, passed away on March 25, 2018 in Leesburg, Florida.
She was born on Jan. 18, 1945, in Delray, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph William and Irene Regina (Klein) Griffin.
Sandra graduated in 1963 from Trenton High School in Trenton, Michigan, and went on to attend Grand Rapids Community College for Interior Design.
Her greatest joys were her family, her home, and her pets. Sandra lived for many years on Clear Lake in Grass Lake, Michigan, where she enjoyed kayaking, boating, and lake life. She took great pride in cooking for her beloved family and friends and making a beautiful and cozy home.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 31, 2018, from 1-5 pm and Monday April 2, from 10-11 a.m. at Cole Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, at the Cole Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. with Rabbi David Nelson officiating.
Burial will follow at Michigan Memorial Cemetery, Flat Rock, Michigan.
