Registration for Chelsea Field Hockey’s Whip-It Camp is now open. Register by June 1 to save on the camp fee.

Whip-It Camp is June 17 through 21 at a new location and time. Camp is at the Jerry Niehaus Stadium in Chelsea from 3-6 p.m. Skill sessions have been ramped up to train camp participants at a higher level with quicker stick work and speed of thought tactical play. Daily scrimmages and conditioning sessions will prep youth for fall school and rec teams.

The camp is open to rising 3rd through 9th graders. Youth entering 10th through 12th grades who wish to learn field hockey or improve stick skills, footwork and conditioning are also encouraged to attend.

The camp fee is $160. Save $10 on the five-day camp fee if you register by June 1. A daily rate is available for those who cannot attend all five days.

Another important date to note is the May 22 Informational Meeting at the WSEC at 6 p.m. for rising 7th through 12th graders for Beach Middle School and Chelsea High School fall teams.

Register for camp and for the fall teams at www.chelseafieldhockey.org. Please refer to the resources page on the website for additional details. This page will be updated throughout May and June.
