The Evening Primrose Garden Club invites you to attend the March 13 presentation, “Climate Change: A Gardener’s Response to the Changes This Will Bring,” beginning at 7 p.m. in The Depot.
The speaker is Mary Garton, a retired nurse and gardener, who is now volunteering for causes close to her heart. Her talk will be about climate change, a gardener’s response to the changes this will bring about, a specific highlight of pocket forests, and additional steps to take.
“Climate change is the single most important issue we face and exacerbates all of our other problems. It impacts all of us, all Americans, and all those on Earth,” she said.
This event is brought to you by the Evening Primrose Garden Club and is open to everyone. Refreshments and snacks provided.
Cost: Club members are free and non-members $5.00 (payable at the door)
