Rick Taylor Real Estate free burger giveaway a huge success

Courtesy photo. Rick Taylor leads the line of hungry people waiting to get a free burger from Chelsea Burger. Taylor announced he would pay for the first 100 burgers.

Slushy sidewalks and a heavy snowfall couldn’t stop people from getting in line for a free burger and fries at the newly opened Chelsea Burger.

Located at the old Seitz Tavern downtown, among the menu offerings are cheeseburgers, bean burgers and chicken sandwiches along with fries and milkshakes.

The doors opened on Jan. 15 at 11 a.m., and those in line were treated to a choice of burgers and fries. It took less than an hour and a half before the 100 free meals were served and donated courtesy of local Realtor Rick Taylor of the Charles Reinhart Company

Rick Taylor said in an email, “I love serving this community that has served me and my family so well for almost 20 years. I love this town and always will.”

He sent a special thank you to the Chelsea Area Chamber for its help in supporting this project.
