The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has extended the intermittent lane restrictions by seven months of Dexter-Chelsea Road between Island Lake Rd and Dancer Road in Lima Township for utility work.
The work began on Sept. 15, 2025, and the work will now be completed in August. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane closures and lane restrictions. Motorists traveling through the work zone may wish to consider an alternate route.
