Erin Hunt-Carter and Heidi Reyst took the oath of office as members of the Chelsea School District (CSD) Board of Education, administered by Kate Henson at the board’s meeting on Jan. 6. Following last November’s election, the two occupy six-year term positions on the board.
With the board back to its full complement of seven members, they elected 2025 officers: Kate Henson – president, Erin Hunt-Carter – vice-president, Sara Tracy – secretary, and Michelle Craig – treasurer.
The board approved a long list of policies, updated to reflect current law, to take effect July 1. The policies are available to read in full as attachments to the agenda.
The board also discussed the next group of policy updates, which are expected to be voted on at their next meeting.
