Enjoy the vast array of colors at the Saturday Chelsea Farmers Market.
From the fruits and vegetables to the flowers, the September harvest means a huge, colorful variety of all sorts of fresh foods.
Also for sale at the Saturday market will be locally made baked goods including cookies and cakes, breads and muffins. There will be herbs and seasonings as well.
The market runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and is located at Palmer Commons on Main Street.
This week’s music will be provided by “Soul Songstress” Stacey Murray.
There is a regional (Chelsea, Grass Lake, Manchester and Stockbridge) food assistance program to help get healthy market food on the tables of those in need. It’s aimed at folks who don’t quite meet SNAP criteria. Be sure to inquire at the market.
