Welcome in the month of September at the Wednesday Chelsea Farmers Market located at the Chelsea State Bank parking lot at the intersection of M-52 and Old US-12.
This is a great time for fresh fruit including apples, grapes, pears, and raspberries. Kapnick Farms and K’s Acres are both at the Wednesday market and offer a great selection of fruit.
There will also be corn and tomatoes at the market this week along with zucchini, cucumbers, eggplant, squash, and potatoes.
Fresh baked goods are always a part of the Wednesday market, including cookies, cakes, and breads.
You’ll also find eggs and honey, cheese and meat, along with a variety of crafts such as birdhouses, pottery, jewelry and soy candles.
The market runs from 1-5 p.m.
Among the vendors at this season’s Wednesday market are Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, K’s Acres, Needle-Lane Farms, Pregitzer Farm, Bordine Farms, Golden Fleece Farms, Marks Farm, Kapnick Orchards, Affeathermations, LA Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Awakened Provisions, Sweet & Salty (cookies), Smellz So Good (candles).
