Serendipity Books is launching two new book clubs in October and November to expand the gathering opportunities for book lovers in Chelsea.
The Banned Book Club will have its inaugural meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 7 pm-8 pm to discuss Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. This book club will provide a space for readers to explore narratives that have been and continue to be silenced.
The Young Adults book club will have its first meeting on Sunday, Nov. 16, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm to discuss The Bletchley Riddle by Ruta Sepetys and Steve Sheinkin. This book club is specifically for teenagers in the community, and will be free for attendees.
Links to sign up for either book club are posted on Serendipity-books.com under the ‘Events’ tab. Both book clubs will meet at the bookstore.
