If you want to serve Chelsea in 2022, there are a number of open board and committee positions available that might be of interest to you.
The Chelsea Downtown Development Authority Board has three open positions with two long-time members — Kathy Finger and Bill O’Reilly opting to step away from this board following many years of involvement. To apply, you must either live in the DDA district or have a business there.
The Parks Commission, Board of Review and the Zoning Board of Appeals is also looking for members.
New next year will be the formation of the city’s Public Safety Task Force as well.
