St. Louis Center seeks direct care staff supervisor

St. Louis Center is looking for a supervisor of direct care workers, who coordinates, supervises, orients, trains and monitors the direct care staff. The Direct Care Supervisor will also plan, train, and supervise the implementation of special services, such as; treatment plans, behavior management programs, activities and nutritional and recreational programs.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree and two years experience working with mentally or cognitively impaired children or adults. A minimum of two years post-secondary education, significant supervisory and relevant work experience will also be considered.

You must be emotionally stable and of sufficient health, ability and experience to perform the duties assigned. You must also have knowledge of CPR, first aid, general fire safety, crisis prevention intervention and behavior management. It is also necessary to have clear written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to plan, prioritize and execute responsibilities.
