At special ceremonies held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Saturday Dec. 4, Grand Knight Vince Elie of St. Louis Guanella K of C Council #3092 named the Klovski Family the Family of the Year for the 2021-22 fraternal year.

Actively involved in parish life at St. Mary, the Klovski’s are involved in many activities, including the Chicken BBQ’s, Parish Fish Fries, Bingos, and a recent Veteran’s Memorial Flag raising project in front of the church.

Ken Klovski is the immediate Past Grand Knight of the Council, and his son Jack is the Council Scribe. During the Covid19 outbreak in 2020, Jack was also responsible for running the live stream of the parish’s Mass for shut-ins for those who couldn’t come to church during the past year. Jack has also revamped the parish’s technology system and the sound system in the church. Ken’s wife Stacy and his mother, Joanne, also assisted with many of these projects.

Brad Angelocci of St. Mary Parish was also named Knight of the Year for his many contributions throughout the fraternal year.

According to GK Vince Elie, “Brad is at every event and can be counted on to do whatever is needed. He’s a great help in the kitchen, and rolls up his sleeves to assist with cooking, washing dishes, collecting money at bingos, and anything else that’s needed. He’s a great all-around Knight and a man who is devout in his faith.”
