For a young kitten, Storm has been through a lot of changes in a short period of time.

She will be one of the animals available for adoption at Wags to Wiskers (1188 South Main St.) between the hours of 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10.

According to Tara Stone, a volunteer for Age of Miracles Animal Rescue, “Storm was surrendered at a small shelter up north and housed in a small and lonely cage for a couple weeks, which must have been scary. Then her only other friend in the world was adopted, and now she is alone and in another new place trying to get her bearings.”

Storm is a 14-week-old female, black-and-white kitten that craves attention. She is somewhat timid but Stone predicts that she will be a lap kitty once she feels comfortable with people.

“Storm would do well to find familiarity again and settle in somewhere surrounded by love,” said Stone. “A loving supporter of Age of Miracles has already paid her adoption fee so she is free to an approved home.”

The Age of Miracles can be reached at 517-480-4410 or by emailing [email protected].

It is a nonprofit animal rescue that works with Dr. Holly at Lane Animal Hospital. Adoption fees are $50 for cats and $120 for dogs.
