The Beach Cross Country team ran through the mud on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Hudson Invitational and ran themselves right to a second place finish for the girls and a fifth place finish for the boys.
Caroline Hirth led the charge with a third place finish and Foster Thorburn ran a tough race to take ninth.
Sydnee Liedel, Sydney Matusik, Reese Smith and Brandon DeGracia all ran great races as the second and third runners for the team.
Outstanding performances were also turned out by Natialie Gofton, Katherine Eckland, and Sydney Barnes. All three ladies pushed their pace and improved their times since their last meet.
For the guys, Gabe Gasbarre and Spencer Smith all ran excellent races and achieved season best times.
Great work to all the Beach runners; they just keep getting better.
