Suspicious activity reported in Lima Township

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Lima Neighborhood Watch folks Bill and Roben Coury for the information in this story.)

Bill and Roben Coury report that they received a phone call through the Lima Township neighborhood Watch network Friday afternoon, Dec. 12, that there has been suspicious activity taking place in the township, which includes two incidents of people going to homes to sell occupants cleaning supplies.

These cleaning supplies are the same type that can be purchased in a grocery store.

One vehicle is an older blue van with darkened windows with two guys in it near Jerusalem and Fletcher roads.

The other is a white Chrysler minivan working an area near Jerusalem and Haist roads.

“At this time, we do not have license plate information, but if you see or encounter these people stay out of harm’s way but, get the license plate numbers send them to [email protected] so the information can be forwarded to the neighborhood watch group as well as the police.
