This month brings another community supporting business to light — Lloyd Bridges Traveland.
Their sign, advertising trailers and specials also promotes events in the community. People visiting, passing through and living here see the sign as they leave or arrive in Chelsea. Such a small but huge part in supporting the community they serve.
Each person that lives, supports business, or serves in Chelsea plays a part in making this community what it is. The people of Chelsea make Chelsea something to be proud of their actions and their support of their community and the larger community abroad make this place we decided to call home, a community.
Lloyd Bridges began as a Dodge dealer in Walled Lake, MI. He moved the business to Chelsea in 1972 having played an important role in getting the first “house cars” out to the consumer. Their summer hours are Monday-Thursday 9-8 p.m., Friday 9-6 p.m., and Saturday 10-3 p.m.
