The local real estate team of Lehman & Scheffler Real Estate Services has a new member. She is Theresa Angel, a longtime client of the company.

Angel has bought and sold numerous homes in both Washtenaw and Wayne counties. She specializes in residential real estate.

“Joining the team was an easy decision for me,” said Angel. “The Lehman and Scheffler reputation is spot on. They are loyal, honest, trustworthy and hardworking realtors that have their clients’ best interest at heart. I found this out firsthand when I was on the other side as their client.”

Angel finds working in real estate to be a satisfying job.

“It’s very fulfilling to help people make the decision that is best for them, whether that is moving into a dream, starter, or retirement home,” she said.

Angel is a big fan of living and working in Chelsea.

“Our schools are among the top in the state, and we have a community that comes out to support them any way they can, whether it’s passing a bond, supporting the arts, or packing the stands on Friday nights to watch the Dawg’s play ball,” said Angel. “Chelsea has a small hometown feel with a huge close-knit community. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.”

She is married to Nick Angel, principal at Beach Middle School, and they share a big blended family.

“Our four daughters are all products of the Chelsea School District,” said Angel. “Alannah is in her junior year at Central Michigan University studying psychology; Kylie is at Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio, studying biomedical engineering with a co-major in pre-med; Ava is a junior at Chelsea High School in the Health Sciences Program; Brooklyn is in sixth grade at Beach Middle School.”
