Tickets Available for 5 Healthy Towns Farm to Table 9th Annual Fabulous Feast

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Matt Pegouskie for the information in this story.)

You don’t want to miss out on this year’s Farm to Table Fabulous Feast, on Sunday, Aug. 18 at Gordon Hall in Dexter. Tickets are going fast, and this popular event always sells out.

This outdoor celebration highlights our local farms, restaurants, and the 5 Healthy Towns communities coming together in a healthy way. Tickets are $75 and available online. Meat and vegetarian entrees are offered.

This year’s silent auction features wine baskets, spa packages, suite tickets to Michigan International Speedway, and many generous gift cards from local businesses. The auction will open on the day of the event, and donations can be made on the link.

Anne Young, owner of Owl Hollow Bakery and this year’s event coordinator from the Dexter Winter Marketplace, knows how important it is to recognize the efforts that continue all year to keep our markets going.

“Our farmers markets promote a sense of community pride. Knowing where your food comes from and how it is grown brings an important awareness to our community residents. Where else can you get a delicious meal prepared by local chefs with local food?  Along with that you will be on the lawn of beautiful Gordon Hall listening to music played by our Dexter musician, Ed Young. We hope you will help make it possible to run five different farmers’ markets for the next year and experience a fun-filled day.”
