Congressman Tim Walberg, R-7th, issued the following statement Tuesday after being sworn into the 114th Congress:

“I’m honored the people of Michigan’s 7th District have once again entrusted me with the opportunity to be their voice in Congress,” he said in a press release.

“I remain committed to listening to their concerns and working tirelessly to develop bipartisan solutions to help grow a healthy economy, expand opportunity, and help more people find and keep a good-paying job. Working together, we can create a better, safer, and more prosperous future for our children and grandchildren,” Walberg said.

He serves on the House Education and the Workforce Committee as Chair of the Workforce Protections Subcommittee.  In addition, Walberg serves on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
