Attention CHS Class of 1969, Mike Harvey is planning a memorial gathering to celebrate the artistically awesome life of the honorable Ted Ewald. Ted passed away in June, and the gathering will take place at the American Legion Post 31 on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 1-5 p.m.
Harvey said the Camel Fall Classic, the annual golf tournament he and Ted put together, was always held on the first Sunday in fall. It was a cancer fundraiser benefiting people we all know.
There will be no golf this year, instead, there will be this special gathering.
Donations for the family are entirely encouraged.
There will have Sloppy Joe’s and beer. And, if people choose to bring a dish to pass, it will be appreciated. Attendees are welcome to BYOB, too.
