Two candidates for Chelsea City Council and counting?

With today at 4 p.m. the deadline to officially file paperwork to have a name on the Nov. 3 ballot for Chelsea City Council, current Council Member Jane Pacheco and resident Peter Feeney have made it official.

Pacheco filed on Friday afternoon and Feeney filed Monday afternoon for the non-partisan election.

There are three 4-year City Council seats up for grabs and today, July 21 at 4 p.m. is the deadline to turn petitions into City Clerk Laura Kaiser.

The three seats up for election are currently held by Rod Anderson, Frank Hammer and Pacheco.

  1. Where can citizens get information on the Chelsea City Council candidates to inform themselves before the General Election Nov. third. I have search the internet and only can find the names of who is running and there personal phone numbers and e-mail addresses. That info I got from Washtenaw County we

      There will be a story tomorrow about a candidate forum taking place in the City Council Chambers put on by the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
