The temporary signal at M-52 and Werkner Road is now expected to be active on Tuesday, July 5.
It will remain in flash mode over the holiday weekend, with one lane maintained in each direction on M-52.
Once the temporary signal is active next week, one lane of traffic will be maintained through the intersection during construction.
Currently, Werkner Road traffic is being detoured around the intersection.
