Make the Chelsea Farmers Market a destination this Saturday morning.
There will be a huge variety of vendors as well as music at Palmer Commons
Stock up on plants and herbs, fresh vegetables, as well as blueberries, cherries, and peaches.
Kermit’s Pad will be one of the vendors selling blueberries along with onions and herbs, and plants. Owner Kevin Heim has been selling his plants and produce at the Chelsea Farmers Markets for more than 20 years.
Fresh baked goods as well as hot sandwiches, seasonings, and a wide selection of crafts from local artisans will all be available.
This week’s music will be provided by Annie & Rod Capps, who perform Midwestern folk.
The market runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
There is a new regional (Chelsea, Grass Lake, Manchester and Stockbridge) food assistance program to help get healthy market food on the tables of those in need. It’s aimed at folks who don’t quite meet SNAP criteria. Be sure to inquire at the market.
