UM Basketball Coach John Beilein is heading toward an exciting finish in the Final Four of the Infiniti Coaches’ Charity Challenge Contest at ESPN.com.

Coach Beilein, who has chosen St. Louis Center as his charity of choice, is sitting solidly in third place in the nationwide vote as we prepare to enter Round 4 of the contest on March 1. This social media contest began on Jan. 5 with 48 coaches nationally in Round 1, then was pared to 24 Coaches in Round 2, and is now left with 16 coaches in Round 3.

The winner of the contest will win $100,000 for his favorite charity. He currently trails the coaches from Purdue and Iowa State, and needs the assistance of Wolverine fans everywhere to win.

According to Fr. Enzo Addari, administrator of St. Louis Center, “This is the furthest we’ve come in four years in this contest, and the opportunity to win $100,000 for our children and adults with developmental disabilities is exciting. If we make it next week, this will be our first time in the final four.”

To cast your vote for Coach Beilein, go to VoteCoachBeilein.com, register with your name and password, and vote daily through March 14.

The winner will be announced on Sunday, March 15.
