On April 1, a contractor for the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has completed the tree removals along Werkner Road between Sibley Road and M-52 in Sylvan Township.
The contractor will return to perform minor stump removals, according to information from the Road Commission.
WCRC is finalizing bids documents for milling and resurfacing from Sibley Road to 1200 feet north, and for pulverizing, paving, drainage, and shoulder work from 1200 feet north to M-52.
Construction will start this summer.
