Win a bag filled with bears while helping Faith in Action

For $1 you can help Faith in Action and perhaps, win this prize.

(Publisher’s note: I was one of the first people to buy a ticket – who can resist Teddy Bears and a good cause – and I hope all of you will do the same.)

Jessica Milliken stands by the bag of bears that will be given away.

The Chelsea Teddy Bear Company has put together a fabulous bag full of bears for a drawing that will benefit Faith in Action.

Jessica Milliken, co-manager of the store, said this holiday giveaway includes more than $900 in products from the company. She hopes that everyone will spend a dollar for a chance to win, while helping the local community resource for families and individuals who need assistance.

The drawing will be held on Dec. 1 during the Hometown Holiday community sing at the Teddy Bear Company. But you need not be present to win.

Employees have set a goal of 2,000 entries, which translates into $2,000 that will benefit families in the community who look to Faith in Action for help.

“We want to encourage everyone in the city to come in and enter to win,” she says.

Before the drawing, you can warm up after the Hometown Holiday Light Parade inside the Teddy Bear Company from 7-9 p.m. , enjoy free refreshments and sing carols with “Counterpoint” before the winner’s name is drawn.
