The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office warns everyone of a winter weather advisory from 1 a.m. Monday until 3 p.m. Monday.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
Wet snow is expected with total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches. The higher snow totals will be across western St Clair, northern Macomb, and northwestern Washtenaw Counties.
Winds on Monday will include gusts between 25 and 30 m.p.h.
The hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute with slippery road conditions and reduced visibilities. The snow will be heavy and wet, which may cause a few power outages and make for difficult snow removal.
