Now in its sixth week, Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights, presented by Golling Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Chelsea, continues its free summer concert series Thursday, July 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Professional artists perform at 11 staged areas located throughout downtown Chelsea featuring music, dance, family entertainment and chalk drawing.

Local favorite, Bill Bynum and Co. perform Americana at Katie’s Korner on the library lawn. Seven Bridges return to South Street with a mix of country and rock, and at the East Alley stage, Scott Thatcher performs blues and folk.

Rock group Men In Black perform at East Middle Street while jazz fusion band Doctor Pizza performs at West Middle Street.  Nathan Sweet showcases a mix of classic rock and gospel at Glazier Building, just around the corner from jazz artists David C. Bloom and Friends.  Peter and Ralph Duo perform rock at Chelsea Alehouse Brewery.

Fun for the whole family continues with face painters Dee Dee the Clown and Face Painting Robot at the Clocktower Courtyard stage, and 3 Generations Twisters for the kids at Main Street Alley.

Chelsea Chalk Art, beneath the Chelsea Clocktower on Main Street, provides chalk and drawing examples for all ages and levels of expertise.  The theme this week is “Children’s Book and Comic Characters”.

After Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights, SRSLY Cinema presents free outdoor movies at dusk. This week SRSLY presents Boss Baby (PG).
