Open forum about CAFA millage renewal planned for Oct. 25 at the library

If you would like to learn more about the renewal of the 1.8 mill Chelsea Area Fire Authority millage, which will be on the Nov. 6 ballot, there will be a public forum on Oct. 25 at the library.

Voters in Chelsea as well as those in Lima, Lyndon and Sylvan townships will be asked to vote on the ballot question.

The forum will take place in the McKune Room in the Chelsea District Library from 7-8 p.m., and the first half of the informational session will consist of a millage renewal briefing from fire authority officials, then the floor will be open for questions.
