For those who enjoy discovering great deals on clothing, shoes, purses, and decorations, The Find, LLC in downtown Chelsea sells used items at bargain prices.

“We are a family apparel store,” said owner MaryAnne Thomas, who says they have something for everyone. “We are a resale/consignment shop. We encourage ladies to consign their closing with Moran’s Consignment but all other items are considered.”

The Find opened in June at 136 W. Middle Street.

“There has been a great response so far,” said Thomas. “We are always looking for Vera Bradley purses, good quality shoes for all ages, maternity wear, and small home decor.”

Thomas asks that items be brought in no more than ten at a time and that they be clean and on hangers.

She is thrilled to have her business in downtown Chelsea.

“Chelsea is such a great place to be, so the choice was an easy one,” said Thomas. “It’s a wonderful community. I’m so grateful to be here, helping provide another community service to the area.”

Originally, The Find was an online store, and Thomas’ goal was for it to be brick and mortar. She says it’s been a smooth transition under the management of Stadium Development.

“The established businesses in the downtown area, much like the residents, have been so kind and welcoming,” said Thomas. “The heart and soul of this community is inspiring, and it is truly an honor to be here among them all.”

Thomas and her husband along with three children live in the Chelsea School District.

The Find is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. with extended hours on Thursday evenings in the summer until 9 p.m. as well as during the Sounds and Sights Festival weekend July 25-27 when they will have a raffle each evening giving away gift certificates to the store.
