The Chelsea Wednesday Farmers Market is still going strong from 1-5 p.m. in the parking lot of the Chelsea State Bank at the intersection of M-52 and Old US-12. The market will run through Nov. 4.
You’ll find a variety of pumpkins at this week’s market along with other autumnal produce and decorations. There will be multi-colored gourds for sale along with squash, peppers, onions, potatoes, and tomatoes.
Plenty of apple cider will be on hand as well as a multitude of apples, ranging from ideal eating to perfect baking apples. There will also be pears and raspberries for sale.
Fresh baked goods including cookies, cakes, and breads will be available, and artisans will be selling bird houses, jewelry, pottery, and more.
Market Manager Emily Griswold asks anyone with any sign of illness to please stay home.
Everyone is asked to practice social distancing of 6-10 feet and not to linger.
Shoppers will be asked to follow one-way pedestrian traffic signs using one entrance and one exit. There will also be hand washing stations.
Shoppers are asked not to touch or sample products, and vendors will choose and bag items.
