Seven Will Johnson scholarships were awarded earlier this summer to the children and grandchildren of St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea employees, as well as to three other recipients.
Those three recipients were honored at a dessert reception held in the courtyard of Silver Maples of Chelsea on July 28.
The three recipients are: Brennan Kim, son of Christina Kim, Silver Maples director of marketing, Charlee LeCrone, granddaughter of Karen LeCrone from Silver Maples, and Melissa Yekulis, daughter of Joe Yekulis, former public relations director for St. Louis Center.
Brennan Kim attends the University of Toledo; Charlee LeCrone attends the University of Detroit; and Melissa Yekulis is a Master’s degree student at Concordia University.
