Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce (CACC) recently announced that Rick Taylor -Reinhart Realtors will be the presenting sponsor for the 2022 Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights Summer Concert Series and the Sounds & Sights Festival.

Now in its 17th season, Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights kicks off on June 2 and runs every Thursday night through July 28. These open-air concerts are known for their variety of music, dance, comedy, and family entertainment.

In addition to the 9-week schedule, a two-day Sounds & Sights Festival will take place on July 29 and 30, which includes a classic car show, kid-zone, art market, chalk art, live music, farmers market, and social tent. The festival, now in its 44th year, helps raise funds necessary to support the free Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights concert series.

“Rick Taylor continues to support the community of Chelsea. His generous sponsorships over the years have enabled so many great events and activities in this community. We are appreciative and excited that he is returning as the Presenting Sponsor again this year,” said Dr. Jon Curtis, president, Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce, in a press release.

“Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights is one of my family’s favorite things to do in the summer. I feel lucky to be a part of Sounds & Sights and can’t wait for this summer,” said Taylor in a press release.

“Even during this transition year, as the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce starts to organize and plan these events – the support from area businesses, like Rick Taylor Real Estate, is so inspiring. These events would not be possible without the support of so many in the community and the financial investment of over 100 sponsors. That support is a true testament to the desire for these events in Chelsea,” said Terris Ahrens in a press release.

There are several sponsor levels still available for businesses, individuals, and families. Please reach out to Ahrens, executive director of the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce, to see how you can support these amazing community events. Please email [email protected] or call 734-475-1145.
