Michigan-made wines and beers take center stage at Sounds & Sights fundraiser

Wine & Brew Show logoChelsea Area Festivals & Events will celebrate Michigan-made wines and beers at this year’s annual spring fundraiser for the summer-long Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights.

The Sounds & Sights Wine & Brew Show will take place on Monday, April 29 from 6-9 p.m. at The Common Grill.

Guests will be treated to wide selection of Chef Craig Common’s sampling of Michigan foods, 50 wines and two dozen beers, which will also be for sale.

Tickets are $50 per person and all proceeds benefit Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights and the Sounds & Sights Festival.

“As with all nonprofit events, fundraising is an essential part of Sounds & Sights,” said Common, co-organizer of the event in a press release.

“The Wine & Brew Show helps us raise money so we can continue to provide quality entertainment, free to the public, at Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights,” he said, adding, “Our team has been busy planning events and scheduling performers and this is a fun way to share our excitement for the upcoming season with the community.”

Tickets are available at The Common Grill, 112 South Main St. or by calling 475-0470.

Sounds & Sights kicks off its ninth season on June 6 and runs every Thursday until August 15 – except on July 4.

The 37th annual Sounds & Sights Festival is July 25- 27, and for more more information, click here.
